Welcome Bags

Hubby and I got married last October. My sister-in-law humored my crazy projects and helped me make custom Welcome Bags for Out of Town guests. They turned out so cute! All I did was purchase discount upholstery fabric, cut some handles, and she sewed about 20 bags. I filled them with mints, notepads, gum, maps, a welcome note, bottles of water, trail mix, etc. I wanted to make sure our guests who came from another state were nice and comfy :) We dropped these off at the hotel for the guests to receive as they checked in. I was very pleased with the way the bags turned out and we received many compliments!

They were pretty easy, too! I believe we just cut 9 X 18 inch rectangles, then she sewed the handles on the 9 inch edges, and finished up by sewing up the sides.

Birthday Cards for our Neighbors

We have the best neighbors in the world. Their birthdays are very close to each other, so I made these cards for them.

Birthday Card

Another birthday card -

The cupcakes are from the "Wild Card" cart. I love the sparkly paper!
